Anthony is a native of Humboldt, TN and has been privileged to be the Musical Director for theatres across the country. His recent Musical Direction credits include Aida at the Starlight Theatre, Little Shop of Horrors at the Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Shrek at the Coterie Theatre, and Bingo at The American Heartland Theatre. Anthony has a Bachelor of Music degree in commercial music and piano performance from Belmont University in Nashville, TN and graduate degree from the University of Missouri- Kansas City Conservatory of Music. In Kansas City, he has appeared with the Kansas City Repertory Theatre, The New Theatre, Quality Hill Playhouse, Starlight Theatre, Theatre in the Park, Unicorn Theatre, Coterie Theatre, Late Night Theatre, Bar Natasha, and Epic Entertainment. Elsewhere he has appeared at The New Victory Theatre (New York), Casa Manana at Bass Hall (Fort Worth), Theatre Under the Stars (Atlanta), The Denver Center for Performing Arts (Denver), The Red Barn Theatre (Key West), and The Waterfront Playhouse (Key West). Anthony is an adjunct faculty member in the Theatre Department at UMKC and is the resident musical director for American Heartland Theatre, Unicorn Theatre, Coterie Theatre, Epic Entertainment, Starlight Theatre, and All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church. When not working, he enjoy spending time with his dogs, Darby and Samantha, and his partner Scott.
